Customs...the officer

Anybody have a good line on getting intesting motorcycle rubber into Canada without paying a million clam shells in duty, taxes and shipping? The last piece I brought over had a $50 bill attached from Can. customs. B itCh! Just wondering if anyone knows of a Canadian Dist. with some interesting rubber or someone in the US that doesn't kill you on shipping.

    get it mailed to a p,o, box in the states... pack it in your trunk and be done with it. Canada gets too much tax already

    Thanks, bruce, but I'm about 500 klicks from the border so for the 2 tanks of gas it'd take and the 10 hours of driving I'd rather pay the $50 doody and $40 shipping.
