Been collecting and collecting for the Pan and am getting really itchy to start putting it together. Bernie still has my cases so I might be building wheels and refreshing other bits before I get to the motor. All good I guess. I need to slow down and take my time, but panpanpanpanpanpan

Man up

Fucking pathetic. 12 posts!? For the whole month? Are you kidding me? We have hit an all time low, gentlemen. Time to man up and put this blog back in service. I wanna see innovative ideas. New weekly features, interviews with crusty guys you know, videos of stupid shit you can do, DIY projects and how-to's, anything that can't be done by the blog killing Instagram crowd. Let's get at it Mules.

Shop night for mules

Got some garage time in last night with Billy Sastard at Du Keeps' garage. Old friends. Good blokes. Ben was changing out his f150's thermostat and Kip was changing the seals in his XL forks. I hadn't brought a project and was feeling a little left out so I just started shopping.

Boat Mock

The Throttle quadrant is put to gether but not reinstalled and the steering is half installed new cables and such. The engine is back on the boat but not wired in yet,

it got late and I wasn't real sure where to continue so I figured I'd see how it's gonna look.

Quick Trip

only had time to flip Keno the bird (so to speak)

Heat's off

Well if you haven't heard yet the Murder Van has been sold. Too much heat for me to handle. Between the surveillance team in the bushes and the Parents Association harassing me in line at the grocery I have had it. That brings an end to what I liked to call the Matte Black Syndicate. Dale and the Murder Van made a fine pair, but things move on. Pat and Graeme picked up the napper van for the Rights of Passage as a shop van. Gonna be hauling kegs to parties and the like now so maybe we'll see it around yet. Hope it serves you guys well.

The devil made me do it

Swap meet run to Regina this morning. As per usual, the local tables were NOT filled with vintage chopper gold, so we turned our attentions to functional items. A guy we bought some stuff from last year was there again and had a few interesting items including this Delkron Case Stroker Shovel motor with a RevTech 4 speed Ratchet top. It was sitting in one of the ugliest Smith Bros. frames I'd ever seen. He also had a few cow pie tranny's in various states of disarray and a few bits and bobs of pan valve stuff. Wheels started turning and before I knew it Brian and I had bought the whole lot as a package investment deal. Hahha. Plans arn't finalized as to exactly what will become of it all, but hopefully we'll make a return on an ultimately small investment.

Got a chance to hang out a bit with Liam, Andy, Ben, and Willie too which was rad. Great to see those crazy cats. All up we made out alright. trip well worth it.
