I believe what you're looking for is what's commonly known as a Brat Style drop seat. You need to cut, drop, lengthen (in some cases) and re-weld the two bars comin outta your backbone lower than the shock mounts so that your seat can drop down below the top of the rear wheel. This allows the seating position to follow the lines of a hard tailed frame and keep some suspension at the same time. A lot of people think bratstyle is an easier way to get a cool look as compared to a full hard tail. This is not necessarily the case. To do it right, you still need to chop and burn a lot of metal.
