MGB

I think it is fitting that on the Antiquated Mule's birthday I've finally got something to say about my MG. I've found a supplier for parts and will be digging into this lovely Zenith Stromberg carburator as soon as the tool and rebuild kit gets here. Wish me luck!

WhaMMo!!! TiTs!!

I assume our friend here is a celebrity of some sort. I don't give a fuck. Neither do you. What we do care about it that her tits are here to celebrate the mules birthday. By being fucking awesome. Like the mule. Which is not to say that killer as the mule blog is, it is not near as awesome as tits. Which is why we love to have tits on the blog. Then it's all kinds of awesome.
....................Shut up. you like blogs and tits. fuck off you know what i mean.

Desert Rose Alley Donut

C'mon dude, don't leave me hangin......
I'm lookin' like a douche here!

Update:
Well the challenge of an alley donut was too much for these Ninjas to resist. Let me first say despite appearances, the alley behind the Tiny Garage Rod Shop is in fact NOT really wide enough for a donut. At least not without tearing up the neighbors grass patch he's planted. Sorry Larry. Unfortunately the old adage is true and although I thought I'd shined my latest turd to a chromey luster, the physical toll of a donut was too much for the 'Lil Desert Rose. Although it started off with promise, a broken front brake cable limits the alley donut to being performed by those with skills greater than mine. This is merely a postponement. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Mule!

Well, it's a little known fact that today is the Antiquated Mule's birthday (the blog, not the chev). So to commemorate such a significant passage of time I've compiled a regard rétrospectif (that's french) sur wrenching in the form of a book. A full two page spread for each month we've been alive and I tried to pick shots from the blog that over viewed all the projects and activities during that month. And man, were we busy this year. Here's a sneak peek.

If you're interested in purchasing a copy of this 28 page softcover book please contact I_am_10_ninjas via email. The cost is $25 plus a couple bucks for shipping depending on where you are. PayPal only. All proceeds will go towards getting Mules drunk and purchasing more broken down wrecks that will be turned into shiny turds. Mule's don't worry your copies are already en route (wee oui). Happy Birthday Mules it's been a great first year of wrenchin'!

New Deck Old School

I've been away for a bit catchin rays at the lake and buildin garages for the old man. Back now and picked up a new deck to gnash on. With all the straight sticks out there now it's hard to make a choice. In my day the concave, the kick and the overall shape of the board determined what you bought. Saw this Matt Hensley board at Nine Times and I knew I'd found my huckleberry. I had the original Hensley H-Street board back in the day.

Hensley was one of those Natas like street thrashers that broke shit daily.

B. 94 months
C. 376 weeks
D. 76,284 miles

Bonus question, What went wrong?

Hint:

Sand Riding

Du Keeps, Mike and I had a blast kickin up Sand roosts out at Otoapaso last Friday! I found that the Klr has enough torque to get up the hill, but not enough traction in the Sand. Some new boots may be in order. Cause the fornt end is really freakin sloppy in all that sand.
This is where we needed a camera!
Then it started to rain and we did a few rain laps before heading out through a big boomer, Thanks for the googles and rain jacket Du Keeps I'll get them back to you!

10 day bobber build... Day Six

almost there, slimed the speedo and tack down to just the tack. Why do you want to know how fast you are going.... just go as fast as you can, duh! moved the front signals inward. Fabbed up a nice side mount tail light/ plate holder. Made some holes in the battery box for wires to go into. And i gave the tins a quiky paint job. looks cool. Ok here is the thing i was going to put the narrowed mustang tank on but you know it doesn't look all that bad with the stock tank on. but i think i will finish the custom tank anyway. another thing i might do is drop the front end 1 or 2 inches.

But the bike is basically done!!! Wiring paint the Battery box and bolt some stuff down.

10 day bobber build... Day 5

got the rear signals sorted, i think they look real slick. The seat looks really nice also. it took me sooo long. Also worked on the tank, made the tunnle for it it. i was kinda tricky the back of the tunnle needed to be slightly wider. welded it mostly up, would have finish but i ran out of gas... you know how it goes. finshed welding the frame and painted it.

Run 'Lil Desert Rose Run

Fresh plug with the right number stamped on it. + BoOM + ring d'ding'ding ring

HamBone Run 4 Dayz Done

Ran out to HamBone's last night with Dale to see day 4 of the 10 day build. Lookin' good. I dig the mild custom style. Runs really well which is nice. Lee chopped off the old school muffle action and with just the 4 headers thundering away I think we have our exhaust note.
