This is me. In the Spring. On my new chopper. It makes me really really happy...Okay it's not me, but I know exactly how he's feelin'. After work today I dug the Honda out of the snow and started it. Then I went to the shed and got Pommie started too. Which has been giving me some trouble lately. AaahhhhhAaa! Spring time!!!! is all it took to get things running.

ReplyDeleteNah once I got in there I realized I was look at the points closing at TDC and what I should have been looking for was the gap opening. The engine was set up perfectly before I started fucking with it and now it's set-up even perfectlyer. It just needed a little mustard and the smell of spring air in the carbs. I kicked it over and over real quick and she started to sputter. *BooM* actually not as loud as I thought it'd be with those cherry booms on it.
