Regress x 2

So The MG runs great when the engine is warm. But as I found out this afternoon. It won't run at all if you don't let it warm up first. I guess that is a bit of a chicken and the egg thing. Any suggestions on how to get the engine warmed up with out actually running it?

  1. When my dad was a kid they didn't have electricity on the farm so to get the farm truck going in the am they took an old baking pan with some oil in it, slid it under the oil pan of the truck and lit it up. Only started the truck on fire once. All they had was the slop pail so that got thrown on the engine to put the fire out. He said the truck smelled like carrots and potatoes all winter.

  2. Maybe an electric pump that circulates the coolant through a heater when the vehicle is plugged in. They have them at Crappy tire. Or a magnetic oil pan heater, also at crappy tire.

  3. Yeah smart ass comments aside, those magnetic oil pan things work good, had one on the old old Pajero back in the day. Also used a regular space heater on the XS360 when riding in December.
