While the paint dries...I mean powder bakes.. I installed a new Points and Condenser kit on the shovel. Decided I'd better have a look at the advance assembly in behind and...surprise.
Don't believe Harley Davidson ever made a two piece fly-weight spring nor do I know how to effectively install such an oddity, should they have.
The weights were pretty sticky and it was all tighter than a ... (please complete this sentence in the comments section)
But a good grease and I'm a one-piece spring away from setting my static timing.
