Now I just hope that I didn't screw anything up and the bike will run when I put it back together. Though I am only half done. And aparently these carbs were re jetted since the rebuild kit came with 135 main and 27.5 pilot jets and these carbs have 125 main and 025 pilot I am not totally sure what would happen if I put the stock jets in, though I don't think it would be good. so I just cleaned the old ones and reinstalled them.
WOW! Fuck now I'm gonna have to clean my carbs to look shiney and new too. Good thinking on the jet sets. Stick with what you had. That rust bucket had ballz. Jesus what DID you use to clean those things in all the little nooks and crammys?
ReplyDeleteWell it's fairly time consuming but I scraped it with toothpicks and when I had that done I rinsed it with carb cleaner and it came really clean, then I polished it with some of that german polish shit. I'm pretty stoked on how it came out.
