Bought this brand new Avon Speedmaster MKII for 1/2 price and it came mounted on a painted rim w/ a spool! Nice! Opinions on the narrow rib vs. the knobby trial?
T'is a nice wheel/tire. I would have said go for it for sure if I hadn't already seen the dirtbike tire. Dirtbike has more character. Besides, a front brake might be real nice on our bumpy roads. That hardtail will have little traction when stopping on the washboard.
I like it I dig the look of the knobby too so that's a tough decision will you be able to put it on the other rim to keep your brake? I'm leaning toward the narrow rib.
Sweet go for the straight tread... but if you don't I'll be needing a new front and I'm sticking with that tread pattern so.... Ha my parts supplier is the Tiny Garage Rod Shop.
