We talk about a lotta shiny turds on thEmuLe cuz most of us'd be lucky to find enough money for another beer let alone another bike. Amidst the shop shit I've got this hand made headlight mount. Came with a box of shit blah blah blah. It's the wonkyest fucking hack job of a part I've ever seen. Nothin's center'd. The thing was bent with a sledge hammer and it looks like it was shaped with a jigsaw. Don't get me wrong. I've shaped some gnarly brackets and mounts in my day. some real lemons, but I never chromed them...Buddy chromed it. Yes'sir. Some dude made this giant turd of a light mount and thought, yeah, I'm gonna pay to get this puppy chromed!
Nice one. This years award for the shiniest piece of turd goes to the maker of THIS shit!

Yet another job

Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get everything fixed! A valve guide is leaking oil into the cylinder and when it sits for a while you end up with a cylinder with a lot of oil in it. Smokes like a son-of-a-bitch until it either burns the oil off or fowls the plug so bad it quits. Awesome. Got the head off and will get R&L to do the guides. (Surprising how little there is to a quad once you take all the plastic off)

rise and fall

So I finally got this old riser clamp that I've been waiting on. good deal but it took forever to get here. Sooo it was time to remove the old 1" standard risers from the wg trip.

but these fuckers a rusted in goooooood aaaand the allen hex is stripped to shit....on both...not me...

so some ingenuity. first try welding a bent 1/2 rod to it....nope busted the weld..wouldn't let go.

fine. so I drilled the bitch out.

gett'em drilled out and here's what the clamp'll look like. Hey BriaN remember when you said today, "you need any triple riser bushings?" as we were looking at a pair in R&L today? yeah, well the answer is...yes...I needed them.,..

now to whip up a set of 2 piece low rise stainless z bars
