Random Dude Award

Brian started a single award for this years swap meet. The Random Dude Award. He picked a random dude out of the crowd and told him to pick his favorite bike at the show to win an award. This year I'm proud to say that Joshy won the trophy with my old Pommie Bastard XS650. She's still on the road and he's still riding the piss out of her which is great to see. and hear. Congrats Josh on having the approval of some random dude.

Putting Dale Out To Greener Pastures

Well Dale has left me for another and been granted a new name, The Wizard Hunter! Now the property of this happy chap, Liam. Liam came up from Regina for the swap this weekend and snagged Dale for the special swap meet price. I'm supper sad to see my first real chopper project go, but equally stoked to see a cool cat like Liam taking him on as his main iron. Super glad you came along to fetch this trusty stead, Liam. Got some help last night with the Shovel. I got it static timed and still had trouble starting. Found the front spark to be weak. Changed out the wire and no change. Brian brought me a replacement coil and we tinkered with the timing a bit. *BooM* fired it up here today first kick. Fuck yeah. Still have an intake leak despite changing the rubber rings for bands. Might be the manifold/carb ring seal. I've got one somewhere in my moving madness, but it'll wait. Might have it to a point where it'll make it to the south end of town. Chop Meet here I come? Went for a bit of a cruise after work and man it felt good.

Oh and I met the new neighbors tonight about two minutes after shooting this video. Cindy came by in her jammies tonight around ten to politely introduce herself as an early to bed kinda lady. Uhhh...yer gonna need to chill, cuz this is gonna get loud. heheheh.

Last week i got a call from this guy that heard i am looking for old hd stuff. He said he had a bunch of old knuckle head stuff that he was just going to throw away and was wondering if I wanted it....... I fell for it hard. And said YES I'll come pick it up right now. He stared laughing and said that he was just b s ing me.
He then said that he and his buddy wanted to meet me. They came over and talked and told stories. Larry is the one the the 47 knuckle.
