Joe King is the King

Chances are if you've seen a 3/4 helmet in the past couple years and said, that thing is the sweetest little lid I've ever seen, it was likely a Joe King Speed Shop creation. Paulo has been hand making these lids literally from scratch for a number of years now and pretty much rules the market. No one makes a higher quality head hugging mini lid than Paulo. Today mine showed up in the mail and I AM STOKED. the craftsmanship is incredible. Definitely the most comfortable helmet I've EVER worn. It kinda feels like boobs on your ears. Amazing. Helmet for sale

My buddy's selling his used only a couple times Bell Custom 500 for $75. Anyone looking? Size Large. Soooo comfy. I thought about it but I think I need the dark orange flake version instead.

First time paint may be last

So I started the Simpson helmet paint scheme. Never painted anything fancier than the original mule before. Not super pleased with the results so far, but I've put enough work in by this point to see it through. I'll start clear coats tonight and see if I get any more impressed once it shines a little.

Okay, I'm mildly more pleased with it in it's multi coats of clear. I'll let it cure and as always, polish my turd to become an acceptable first attempt. Final pics to come...

Oh damn, how I wIsH this helmet fit me. I bought this kids helmet for Elliott on Kijiji today for $20. It needs to be recovered inside, but HoLY cHisTiPher that's awesome!!!! As usual with flake, the picture's don't do it justice.
