New Deck Old School

I've been away for a bit catchin rays at the lake and buildin garages for the old man. Back now and picked up a new deck to gnash on. With all the straight sticks out there now it's hard to make a choice. In my day the concave, the kick and the overall shape of the board determined what you bought. Saw this Matt Hensley board at Nine Times and I knew I'd found my huckleberry. I had the original Hensley H-Street board back in the day.

Hensley was one of those Natas like street thrashers that broke shit daily.

Robert Williams & Santa Cruz

Lowbrow Artist Robert Williams has teamed up with Santa Cruz Sk8s. I first heard of Robert Williams, I think, in '88 when his art graced the cover of Thrasher Magazine. Inside there was an article with the "Meat of Love" image in it. Yes the busty Mexican draped across a taco. For an 11 year old boy that image was AMAZING! Needless to say. I'm buying this deck tonight.
