Tinny tin tin
Coles got my tins all glossed black and I can't wait to get them back on the bike. Soooo stoked! Thanks bro.

assembled here today
Had Brian over this morning for an early bird bike build in the shed. Doesn't look like much, but I'm pretty pleased with the progress because it's all done right. A few "basket case" surprises, but nothing too serious. One more round of squaring, shaving, drilling resizing, shimming and bolting and we'll be ready for more general assembly items.

1913
Mr. White Lightning himself sends this little beauty to us. My passions for old bikes usually extends only as far back as the '30's, but in this case I will make an exception. Check out this old beauty of a bird. Gas lit lanterns, leather choke valve, lever clutch and it sounds...like a harley. Don't know how they've managed to make a bike sound the same for that long. beautiful. So neat. Good commentary. Thanks Pete.

Brief hope
Had a brief moment of hope when I got these raked neck cups and thought I'd found a solution for returning my ride to the rake I dreamed of with the adjustable trees. But alas, the bottom one is not gonna fit my neck. Booo
The hard way
Billy popped over to the tiny garage las night to pull a tire off his accord with my spoons. After breaking the bead with a jack and the Biscayne we finally pulled the rim free. We cleaned up the edges with a drill and a wire wheel to get a clean seating and muscled the new tire on. As we began to fill'er up we heard the satisfying *pUNg* of one sides bead setting...then hssssss. Turned out after all that there was a hole in the side wall. Billy rode home on the donut. Anyway. Good excuse for a night in the shed I guess.
Cole is the bomb
Cole undid all my prep work to get the job done right. Pulled the dents from my tins properly and is now painting . Thanks buddy, you are the shit!!
