Makin' bitz

Busted out a bunch of chunks of metal tonight. Doesn't look like much, but this is what ultimately will hold the bike bits together. More to go yet, but got a few tricky ones sorted.




Tank mounting tab that needed to be rounded to fit the tank tunnel and the spine of the bike.




This set-up I was particularly proud of. Monkeys make tools...

(listen closely to hear my wife cursing at her own ceramic projects. Love her...



This is an under-the-fender bracket that will be welded to the sissy bar.

  3. sr. claims map gas welding is a perfectly acceptable form of welding. although time comsuming, only two handed and tricky, you can do a fine job of anything you can make a jig to hold for you.
