Bike for sale

The Shadow is now officially for sale and I am a little bit sad about that. We've spent a lot of quality time together over the years. Great bike for the highway and she's been super reliable (obviously...it's a stock Honda). It's best to imagine without the windshield, sissy bar, and rack. Pulled it out of the shed today, charged the battery, fired up in seconds (as always). What a good girl. "thump,thump,thump,thump,thump,thump..."

The details are...
1987 Honda Shadow 1100cc. New fork seals a couple of years ago, new stator last fall, new rear tire last summer, K&N air filter, 57K. I am looking to get $3,000 for her.

Bike for sale

This is my cousins bike. Selling it b/c he bought a new one this year. A good customizer bike.
1996 Sportster 1200. Straight pipe exhaust with Big City Thunder baffles installed. Hypercharger intake. Forward controls. 10 inch mini ape hangers (has a drag bar as well). Brand new rear tire. Lowered rear suspension. (I bet it would look good black with the drag bar and a 21' spoker up front. See me for details re: the 21")

So we were driving to ND to get our bikes a few weeks ago and had to stop in the middle of nowhere to take a leak. Got out of the truck, looked around and saw 5 dead deer right beside the road. Either a mass suicide or short round of 5-pin "Doe Bowling". STRIKE! weird.

SGI and skoot insurance

There were some rumors flying around the other night at Loco's about SGI having changed their requirements for Used bike registrations and that you no longer had to get them "inspected" (we all know what kinda joke that was) regardless of the CC's. I just checked the web site and sure enough. No more pointless "inspections" on used bikes:
  • Used motorcycles

If you are registering a used motorcycle, you must provide proof of ownership in the form of a bill of sale, lease agreement, or previous registration. An inspection is not required.

WhooHoo! Happy Days for bike builders. For more info on Registering your skoot in the 306 including what to do with an unserial'd frame, check:

Hambone line up

Spent the last 5 hours cleaning the shop. Wheeled all the bikes out so I could see them all united in spender. Now that the shop is all cleaned up I now can move on with progress.
