So the Tiny Garage Rod shop is getting some new digs. The Co-op has Shed's on sale 'til the 4th and it's time to move the shop outta my wife's ceramics studio and claim a little man land. Ultimately, ceramic dust and engine repair mix about as well as metal shavings and glaze recipes. I've picked out a little 8X12 unit that is actually the same amount of space I've been granted in the studio so it should work out fine. Lookin' forward to hangin' some snap-on girls calendars and spitting on the floor. I'll miss workin' with you darling, but we're just too different. Love ya.
She turffed your ass didn't she.
ReplyDeleteSo tell us a little more about your new home? Is there a degree of assembly required? what's it made from? any necessary mods/improvements to be made immediately or eventually? Are we gonna cement anything? (or just the feet of that orange smartypants of a cat you got) If so I'd love to come over and drink your beer and pretend to help. Or maybe I could babysit while your busy. I'll bring my collection of porn, moonshine and vintage handguns. Thats how boys keep busy. Beer blog! Woot!
ReplyDeleteOh my yes. There is assembly. This is no froo froo home depot any-pussy-can-put-it-together-with-one-allen-wrench kinda package. This is an old school co-op we'll give you enough lumber and nails and if you can't figure out where to cut and fasten the shit then you're a little girl!", kinda package. Cheaper for sure. But quite likely emasculating as well. You can definitely help.
ReplyDeleteDu keeps has a skill saw with a laser pointer. so hopefully there is more saw with less skill.
ReplyDeleteGot the same shed. Got her up in a thunder storm. The skies were dark the rains were wet. With only the light of the laser off my skill saw to light the way I got 'er standing and keeping the elements off my precious's. Oh the warm embrace of a spruce 10x12.
ReplyDeletei've got a warm spruce for ya.....
